The Craft
Four hundred impressions to a single quilt.
In the printing yards of Sanganer and Bagru, master craftsmen carve teak blocks by hand, then walk the length of the cloth pressing colour into cotton — one repeat at a time. Our indigo comes from the vat, our reds from madder root, our golds from turmeric and pomegranate rind.
Because each impression is placed by eye, no two pieces are identical. The slight shift in a motif is not a flaw; it is the artisan’s signature.

Our Story
A little of India, folded into homes in Kuwait.
The Hind began with a suitcase of quilts and a stubborn belief: that the textiles we sleep under should be made slowly, by people we can name. Founder Sadaf Khanam works directly with printing families across India, choosing every block and colourway, then bringing the finished pieces home to Kuwait — no middlemen, no mass production.
